The Power Of Your Presence

I was making bracelets the other night — just me, some beads, a little music, and that quiet kind of peace that only comes when you're creating from the heart. My hands moved on autopilot, but my mind was somewhere deeper. I wasn’t just thinking about the colours or the design — I was thinking about presence.

Not just showing up physically, but emotionally. Energetically. Authentically.

Being present means bringing your whole self into what you're doing — especially when you’re building something of your own. Your business. Your brand. Your art. Whatever it is, your energy needs to be in it. Because here’s the truth:

You are allowed to be you.

Loud, soft, wild, quiet, bold, unsure, healing, learning, growing — all of it. You’re not “too much.” You’re not “too different.” You’re exactly right for the people you’re meant to reach. And when you're building a business? Your presence shouldn’t be hidden — it should shine.

Your energy is your brand.

Your story is your superpower.

Your vibe is the invitation that brings people in.

When I first started this journey, I thought I had to follow the rules — be neutral, “professional,” polished. I thought I had to dim my light a little to be taken seriously. I thought I had to look and sound like everyone else to be seen. But trying to water myself down just made everything feel flat. It didn’t feel like me.

And honestly? People can feel that.

People know when it’s real and when it’s rehearsed.

People don’t just buy my jewellery because it’s pretty. They buy it because they feel something in it. A vibe. A truth. A little piece of my soul woven into every bracelet and charm. They feel the intention, the culture, the healing, the heart behind it all. That’s what they connect to.

The more I leaned into being fully Lea — my Caribbean roots, my softness, my sense of humour, my fire — the more aligned everything became.

Creativity flowed.

My community grew.

And my confidence? Skyrocketed... I feel like a giant at least 5'2 haha

And let me be real with you — none of that happened because I followed someone else’s formula. It happened because I stopped pretending and started owning who I was.

You don’t have to fake it to be successful. You don’t have to copy someone else’s style. You don’t have to “tone it down” to be accepted. When you show up real, when your presence is felt in everything you do — that’s when people connect. That’s when they trust you. That’s when your business blooms in the most natural, beautiful way.

So if you’ve been holding back — let this be your sign.

Stop shrinking.

Stop questioning.

Stop apologizing.

You are the magic.

You are the presence.

You are the reason your work hits different.

So show up. Fully. Loudly. Softly. Truthfully.

Let your energy be the signature in everything you touch.

Because when you own who you are — when you really bring your presence into your business — you don’t just build a brand.

You create a legacy.
